The Centre Chirurgical Marie Lannelongue is at 133 avenue de la Résistance, 92350 Le Plessis Robinson, 6km from Paris (south).
There is a receptionist who will tell visitors in which unit you are hospitalised.
Visits are allowed from 1pm to 7.30pm in the hospitalisation unit. Outside these times visits are only possible for exceptional reasons and with the authorisation of the doctors or Nursing Manager.
Visits to patients in the intensive care unit are limited, and only possible on the authorisation of the doctors :
Adult intensive care unit from 2.30pm to 5.30pm
Pediatric intensive care unit from 3.30pm to 5.30pm
People may telephone to enquire about patients at any time.
There is a pay car park for visitors within the establishment.
There is a cafeteria with a news stand on the ground floor.
Telephone reception
Tel : +33 (0)1 40 94 28 00, lines open 24/7. There is a voice recognition system, say the name of the patient or staff member you wish to speak to. Otherwise hold and you will be put through to a receptionist.
Getting in touch with a hospital ward
You can contact the supervisors to enquire about a patient and for any other information. However, we remind you that we cannot give detailed information about a patient over the telephone for reasons of confidentiality.
Hygiene
A hygiene team run by the Comité de Lutte contre les Infections Nosocomiales (a committee in charge of combating nosocomial infections) works permanently to limit infections in the hospital. That is why, at the request of the medical teams, you are requested to be especially careful about hygiene and regularly wash your hands, shower just before the operation, wear clean clothes and so on.
Your visitors may also be asked to wear a mask, gown or other protective clothing. If visitors have a cold or sore throat they are requested to wash their hands using the special solutions provided and to wear a mask before entering a patient’s room. Flowers, chocolates and food are only allowed if authorised by medical staff.
Stay-over companions
In some units you can request a room with stay-over facilities for a person accompanying you. Your request should be addressed to the Nursing Manager.
