Going home

Once authorised by the doctor, patients are normally dischared between 9am and 1pm. The doctor decides on where you will go (hospital, convalescence home, or else home) and the mode of transport. You will be given a prescription and a hospital/operation report will be sent to your GP.

Administrative formalities

At ‘admissions’ you complete any formalities and pay whatever fees are not covered by your social security or health insurer. You will be given a bulletin specifying the length of time spent in hospital (for your employer, the CPAM if you reside in France or appropriate health authorities elsewhere).

‘Admissions’ is open from Monday to Saturday from 8.30am to 4.50pm.

Social Services

The social worker is available to help you with any administrative, family or social problems.

You can make an appointment with the secretary’s office- line 77.86 - from Monday to Friday from 9am to 4.30pm.
